Welcome to the Mālama Learning Center
Mālama Learning Center is a non-profit organization that brings art, science, conservation, and culture together to promote sustainable living throughout Hawai‘i. We are located in West O‘ahu, in the city of Kapolei.
Mālama Learning Center is the result of a shared vision among educators, conservation groups, businesses, and community members to create an innovative learning center in Kapolei to promote healthy, sustainable living in an island environment.
Our programs offer hands-on learning opportunities for youth and adults. Participants gain real-life experience with innovations that integrate culture and tradition with technology and science. By actively engaging area residents in nurturing each other and their environment, we strive to unify West O‘ahu around a shared ethic of caring and conservation.
October 30 - Mākeke Kapolei 3rd Anniversary! Join us for a fabulous celebration including healthy trick or treat and costume contest for keiki.
November 15 - Art & Aquaponics Symposium - onsite registration accepted.
November 18 - Mini Fundraiser at CPK Pearlridge. Come dine with us!
November 22 - Worm Composting WOW workshop. 9 am - noon. Registration and fee required.
December 6 - Natural Holiday Decorations WOW workshop. 9 am - noon. Registration and fee required.
December 7 - Piliokahe Volunteer Work Day. 9 am - noon. Join us!
April 18, 2015 - Calabash & Cooks II fundraising event. Save the Date!
Every Thursday - Mākeke Kapolei, a farmers' and green market at Kapolei High School, 3:00 - 6:30 p.m.
